Ms Zubia Munawar

is a Clinical Psychologist and Speech/ Language Pathologist, completed MSC- Applied Psychology and  the post graduation degree  MS – Speech / Language pathology from Riphah International University Islamabad. She has a vast experience in the domain of speech and language pathology particularly in Adult Neurogenic Communication Disorders and children with special needs. Also worked as clinical and educational psychologist in various settings in order to assist children in educational affairs, social, emotional and learning difficulties as well as patients of various disorders in Adult psychiatry. She has served as an Assistant Psychologist in Institute of psychiatry WHO, Collaborating centre, Project assistant in Short term therapeutic assistance program of Human Development Research foundation and research Technologist at Pakistan Institute of living and Learning. Currently she is also serving as a speech therapist and clinical psychologist in army special children school khariyan, cantt.

Project Assistant and the part of recruitment/therapeutic team in PM PLUS program, A joint venture of institute of psychiatry WHO collaborating centre and HDRF.

STRESS COPING STRATEGIES AND ATTRIBUTION PATTERNS AMONG PATIENTS WITH DEPRESSION AND ANXIETY - conducted in Institute Of Psychiatry, WHO Collaborating center under the supervision of research coordinator DR. Kashif and HOD Dr, Fareed Aslam Minhas.
PROJECT-CMAP –CBT based problem solving approach (therapeutic Asssitance for victims of suicide )-An RCT trial in which the nature of the work was to provide therapeutic assisstance and rehabilitation of victims of suicide ,in a 3 months therapy tenure.
PROJECT- South Asia Self Harm research capability building Initiative (SASHI)-served as an active part of the recruitment team.
